- Our Statement of Faith
At The Good Shepherd International Mission, our faith is grounded in the eternal truth of God’s Word and the power of His redemptive plan through Jesus Christ. We uphold these core beliefs as the foundation of our ministry, message, and mission.

We believe that the Bible is the literal, infallible, and inspired Word of God—complete and without error. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily living. Through the Scriptures, God reveals His nature, His will, and His promises to His people.
(Matthew 24:35; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:3–4)
We believe in one eternal God, who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Though distinct in person, They are perfectly united in essence, power, and glory. God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all things.
(John 1:1–4 & 14; Romans 8:9; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death, bodily resurrection, and glorious ascension of Jesus Christ. He is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin and sent to save humanity. In Him, the fullness of God dwells bodily.
(Romans 1:3–4; John 1:1–14; 1 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ. His blood shed on Calvary is the only means for the forgiveness of sins. No one can earn salvation—it is the free gift of God. As believers, we are justified, sanctified, and empowered to live by the faith of the Son of God.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5; Galatians 2:16; Hebrews 9:12)
We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, who dwells within and empowers every believer. Through Him, we receive spiritual gifts and boldness to minister, witness, and walk in victory. Miracles, signs, and wonders remain an integral part of the Christian life and mission.
(Mark 16:17; John 14:12; Matthew 10:7–8; James 5:14–15; 2 Corinthians 5:17–19)
We believe that Jesus Christ is both present in His Church and will return again in glory. His imminent second coming will complete God’s plan of redemption, bringing resurrection, judgment, and the fullness of His Kingdom.
(Revelation 20:11–15; 1 Corinthians 15:13–17; John 14:20 & 23; 2 Peter 1:4)

We believe that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. As His ambassadors, we—the Body of Christ—carry out the ministry of reconciliation, sharing the message of love, grace, and salvation with all people.
(John 3:16–17; 2 Corinthians 5:18–21)
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all mankind—the righteous unto eternal life and the unrepentant unto judgment. God’s justice and mercy are both perfect and eternal.
(Acts 26:8; Revelation 21:11–15)
We believe that in matters not directly addressed by Scripture, believers are to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit, walk in wisdom, and be led by the peace and confirmation found in God’s Word. We are called to grow daily in discernment and obedience.
(Romans 14:4–5; Philippians 2:12)
We believe in water baptism as a public act of obedience, testifying to our faith in Christ’s death and resurrection. It is an outward declaration of an inward transformation, symbolizing our new life in Him.
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16)
